Juan Valdez 1959 Bogotá restaurant
Design: CREARQ

photo : Monica Barreneche
The Juan Valdez flagship store was conceived as an immersive architectural narrative that spatializes the cultural identity of Colombian coffee production. La Memoria del Rio, Bogotá
Design: Alsar-Atelier

photo : Alsar-Atelier
La Memoria del Río operates at the intersection of public art, urban activation, and ephemeral architecture, conceived as a temporary civic infrastructure capable of reactivating underused spaces throughout Bogotá through cultural programming and collective occupation. Nocaima Retreat, Cundinamarca, Colombia property design
Architects: Obreval

picture : Ivan Ortiz Ponce, Par Fotógrafos
The project reinterprets vernacular architectural elements—including bamboo construction, pitched roofs, and open-air corridors—not as nostalgic references, but as active spatial and environmental devices. Through careful material and tectonic transformation, these familiar forms are repositioned within a contemporary architectural language that simultaneously acknowledges and challenges their cultural, climatic, and constructive origins.

Casa N, Cundinamarca
Architects: CREARQ

photo : Mateo Soto
The architects conceive the project not as a singular object, but as an atmospheric system. Two distinct volumes are arranged in orbit around a central patio, understood as an intentional void that mediates all spatial relationships and allows nature to operate as the primary architectural presence.

A Leaf on the Hillside House, Barichara, Santander Department
Architect: Alsar Atelier

photo : Simon Bosch Photography
Located on the northern edge of the Barichara–Villanueva road, the site is defined by a pronounced slope that frames both its constraints and its architectural potential. The central design challenge becomes how to articulate a contemporary composition that can sustain a sense of timelessness while engaging directly with an extreme and irregular topography.
