The Sunshine Beach House explores the coastal aesthetic through the use of greying timbers and natural materials in a bold, but equally eclectic, architectural expression.

The house was planned around a sequence of courtyards (north and south) that offer a very comfortable year-round lifestyle.

Built by Wade Jenner (who along with his wife Claire is also the owner), this project afforded the architects a wonderful opportunity to develop and craft ideas they have had for a long time with someone who trusted them enough to make them real.

‘60s Modern’ is a renovation project. It is the upper unit of an original early 80’s duplex building, pinned to a steep hillside site, it overlooks the Gold Coast skyline and Pacific Ocean. The design encompasses the client’s love for 60’s style, decor and art.
