As a young man who enjoys hosting and entertaining friends, the house was designed to be spacious, multifunctional, and seamlessly integrated with generous social and leisure areas.

This house is situated in a residential area near Paranoá Lake in Brasília. To maximize integration within the social areas, the entire program was designed to fit under one expansive roof.

The house needed to balance two key requirements: extensive brickwork walls for art display, and glass facades to showcase the surrounding landscape. To achieve this, a gallery was designed with a depth of 14 meters and a double height of 6 meters, providing a display area of 190 square meters.

This building is a weekend home in Brazil. Two voids pierce the roof at either end of the structure, flooding the interior stone bearing walls with natural light. This creates a striking contrast between the solidity of the walls and the lightness of the roof and floor, which appear to float above the rugged ground.
