Casa Batlo Barcelona
This famous Catalan building is a remodelling of an older house. It is located on the west side of the street, just south of the larger Gaudi building diagonally opposite. The building is known colloquially as Casa dels ossos – House of Bones in English.

Casa Mila Barcelona
Casa Mila is a beautiful sculptural building that expresses pure tectonic delight and unlike Sagrada Familia (also by Antoni Gaudi) its architecture is simpler and less specific, therefore in many ways more sophisticated.

Casa Amatller, Eixample
Design: Puig i Cadafalch, Architect
Amatller House

Casa Bellesguard
1902
Design: Antoni Gaudí

Casa Calvet, Eixample
Design: Antoni Gaudi
Calvet House
The Casa Calvet de Barcelona (1899) is one of Antoni Gaudí’s earliest buildings. Some people consider it his most conservative work but it also contains markedly modernista elements, such as the façade which terminates in a curve and the attic balconies, which look like something from a fairy tale. The ground floor now houses a restaurant.

Casa Domènech Estapà, Eixample
Design: Josep Domènech Estapa, Architect

Located at the other end of the block along Paseo de Gracia to Casa Battlo by Anton Gaudi this is a beautiful, florid building that turns the corner in traditional Barcelona grid style. Another building by Lluis Domenech is located in the next block to the north: Editorial Montaner i Simon.

Casa La Clota, northeast Barcelona
1999
Design: Enric Miralles / Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT
