Bahamas Architecture : Buildings
Caribbean Property Developments, America
post updated 19 July 2024
We’ve selected what we feel are the key examples of Bahamas Architecture.
We try to include Bahamas buildings & architectural projects that are of strong design intent. Designs from anywhere in the Caribbean are welcome. A well known architecture typology that came from these islands is the Bahamian clapboard house.
We cover completed Bahamas buildings plus new building designs. We also post architecture competitions across the Caribbean.

Bahamas Home
The objective of the architectural competition is the design of a 7,000 – 8,000 square foot multigenerational home on the waterfront in the Bahamas.
The architectural ‘guideline’ for the home design should be one that stimulates and delights with its unique ideas, exotic details and classic emphasis, and harmonizes indoor and outdoor living spaces.
