Cubus Building, Hong Kong : Woods Bagot

Visitors experiencing exciting retail and restaurants on offer, or travelling inside the glass elevators will be able to enjoy striking views towards the city. The design of this vertical retail building with original façade features, and lighting effects is inspired by ice cubes.
Located on Hoi Ping Road, near to the famous Happy Valley Racecourse the 25 storey building has a total area of approximately 5,600m².
Z15 Tower – tallest building in Beijing, China : TFP Farrells, BIAD, ARUP and MVA

The design by TFP Farrells, BIAD, ARUP and MVA will be the tallest building in Beijing. The new ‘Z15’ Tower, located in the east of Beijing at the heart of the new CBD extension, will be over 120 storeys, and more than 500m high.
Actelion Business Center Building, Switzerland : Herzog & de Meuron

The five-floor steel building created by the architects’ office of Herzog & de Meuron offers space for 350 employees from central business functions that were previously housed mostly in temporary buildings on the site of the Actelion Center.
Dalian International Conference Center, China : COOP HIMMELB(L)AU – Award

The International Conference Center is located in Dalian, an important seaport, industrial, trade and tourism center, located in the southernmost part of the Liaodong Peninsula in the Chinese Liaoning Province. The project combines on overall 100,000 sqm a number of different functions within one hybrid building: a Conference Center, an Opera House, an Exhibition Center as well as a basement with parking, delivery and disposal.
ThyssenKrupp Quarter, Essen, Germany : JSWD Architects / Chaix & Morel et Associés

The vision of the ThyssenKrupp Quarter to be a “consistent”, self-contained building ensemble already had been described in the invitation to the architect’s competition. Not a symbolic volume that reaches far into the sky – far more the expectations focused on a spacious and flexible structure of equal structures that can react to change processes within the group.
