Dr. D. Porphyrios has an international reputation as an architect and theorist. He is the principal of this London architecture practice. He has built in England, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and America and he has received many awards and honorary degrees for excellence in architecture and urban design.
Dr. Porphyrios was educated at Princeton University, New Jersey, United States of America, where he received his Master of Architecture and Ph.D. in the History and Theory of Architecture. He holds an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana, in the United States, and he has been Thomas Jefferson Professor at the University of Virginia. He has taught at the Architectural Association, the Polytechnic of Central London and the Royal College of Art. He is visiting Davenport and Louis Kahn Professor at Yale University.
