ONV Architects is one of Denmark’s leading innovators within prefabricated housing. The studio is located in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. ONV Architects consistently strives after simple solutions to complex problems – without compromising aesthetic principles or functionality. This take on architecture has been expressed in a number of housing projects where ONV arkitekter has used prefabricated units to create affordable, high-quality housing.
Quotes from this Danish design practice:
“Factory-made architecture will play a significant role in the construction projects o the future. Not to say, that from now on all buildings should be boxes put together on a conveyor belt. But, if you look at the buildings being built using traditional methods in Denmark today, at least half of these buildings would be better off using the factory-made method,” says Søren Rasmussen, owner of this architect office.

Nordhavn Station + Orientkaj Station Copenhagen
Part of the Nordhavn metro line extension connecting the docklands to Copenhagen’s city center, Arup and Cobe have worked together to design two new metro stations, Orientkaj and Nordhavn, under the Nordhavn metro line extension.
