Kohki Hiranuma Architect & Associates – studio located in Japan
Kohki Hiranuma
Born in Osaka, Japan in 1971. Graduated from Osaka Institute of Technology. Studied at the AA School (Architectural Association School of Architecture, London). Established Hs WorkShop-ASIA in 1999. and Established Kohki Hiranuma Architect & Associates.
His experimental design proposals on its conceptual works are appraised highly in countries.
He has been given prizes, Japan Federation of Architects & Building Engineers Associations Award, Grand prize of Japanese Society of Commercial Space Designers Award and the rest in Japan, Grand Design international Architecture Award (Great Britain), Innovative Architeuture international Prize (Itary) and the rest outside Japan.
He teaches at Osaka University , Kyoto City University of Arts and other Universities.

Within this small building with less than 300㎡ area, all functions required for a construction company are densely packed in, including an office, meeting room, factory, loading area for trucks, and bedroom. The small site was fully utilized to form the complex facility.

For people to easy to walk though and stop by, the architects office aimed for architecture that the town is continuing to the inside. Specifically, we proposed a configuration surrounding the slopes of steel frame rims around five RC construction boxes. People can walk around on each floor like walking in the city.
