The Hyatt Centric Hotel in downtown Austin is a modern building that incorporates hospitality, commerce, and culture. The 246-room hotel boasts a variety of features, such as outdoor dining, a rooftop bar, meeting rooms, and a fitness center.
Additionally, the building includes offices for the Austin Theatre Alliance and a flexible 1100-square-foot penthouse that can serve as a space for private events.
The lower levels of the hotel are designed to adhere to the view corridor and setback regulations of the State of Texas Capitol. The tower steps back, allowing for a four-level glass cube that serves as an active public space, enhancing the pedestrian experience.
The base-and-tower massing aligns with the nearby State Theatre and Paramount Theatre, cultural landmarks in the downtown area.
