Tower Apartment Kyiv – Ukraine Flat Interior

DreamDesign studio designed and decorated a spacious apartment in Kyiv for a young cosmopolitan family with a child. The clients wanted a modern interior that invites to rest.

The apartment is located in one of the new apartment buildings in Kyiv, so designers decided to make the interior calm and corresponding with modern aesthetics. In order to achieve this, they used clean surfaces, laconic silhouettes, pastel colors, and decorative accents.

The apartment consists of common (a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen) and private areas – a bedroom and a nursery. A dining room that is united into single space with the living room turned out very bright thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows.

Looking out of them you can enjoy the view of the city. And when the sunlight enters deeper into the room, it impressively reflects in brass parts of furniture and lamps. Leicht, a minimalist kitchen, is equipped with everything necessary and is separated from the neighboring spaces with concrete columns.

The family currently has one child, but in case there are more in the future, the nursery has an additional bed. Two beds are located above wardrobes and bookshelves. The tables are placed at the window where there is a lot of light and a panoramic view of the city. A combination of azure blue and red, a rope net, playful knobs on drawers and facade prints – all of this makes the room more dynamic, and children will definitely appreciate it.

Furniture, lamps, and bathroom and toilet equipment that come from famous brands (Vitra, Flexform, Catellani & Smith, Brokis, Lampe Gras, Villeroy&Boch) fill the interior with cosiness and atmosphere. Wardrobes, partitions, and some of the lamps were custom-made according to the specifications of the studio. Natural textures – oak wood floors, natural stone, fabric panels, and brushed steel – bring additional atmosphere into the interior. The apartment has many wooden surfaces, and their visual warmness is accentuated by brutal concrete structures.

Complicated pastel shades, colors of copper and brass, textures of metal and wood, a picture by Oleg Tistol in the living room, furniture and lamps, textile – all of this creates harmony and forms a united picture.
