The sculptural, contemporary building in Centurion, Tshwane, which is designed to accommodate 380 staff members over four floors, rests on a podium formed by two naturally ventilated basements.

In full view of the Union Buildings and in close proximity to Unisa and the Voortrekker Monument, The Freedom Park is emerging as a major landmark reshaping and enhancing the skyline of our capital city. It is the product of the many processes engaged in by Government since 1994 to create and foster a new national consciousness of the common legacy that binds the people of South Africa.

Soccer City Stadium Johannesburg
One of the most striking, impressive and well-equipped stadiums in the world, with 80 000 cubic metres of concrete will have been poured, 9000 tons of reinforcing steel would have been placed and 8000 tons of structural steel. The 90 000 seater Soccer City Stadium venue will host both the opening match and the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The main entrance at the south end of the 1.5km long linear park symbolizes the stadium’s gateway to the city, and is formed by the bifurcation of the huge arch. At the northern end, a cable car transports visitors to the ‘Skydeck’ at the apex of the arch.
