Ladies Beach is a stunning retreat, beautifully positioned between the rugged Al Hajar Mountain range and the sparkling waters of the Sea of Oman. This project features a thoughtfully designed beach bar, restrooms with open showers, shaded sunbeds, and luxurious cabanas that offer a serene escape. The setting blends modern amenities with the area’s natural beauty, ensuring a harmonious connection to its surroundings.

The existing spa, located on a hill overlooking the beach, served as the inspiration for the development of the entire beach area. The elevation difference of about 30 meters between the spa and the beach bar adds a dynamic visual element to the design. Visitors can access the beach via an elegant staircase adorned with an arched pergola, which frames picturesque views of the turquoise sea.

The architectural design of the beach bar and restrooms, featuring open showers, is influenced by the surrounding dark rocks, providing a striking contrast to the soft, white sand. The textures of the buildings are meticulously crafted, using materials like plaster with a cave-like finish and illuminated niches, as well as local stone cladding. Smooth micro-cement floors, cement artwork inspired by the sea, and a predominantly white color palette contribute to the overall aesthetic.

Solid wood, including teak for the chairs and suar for the tables, is used to craft the furniture, arches, and pergolas, giving the space a touch of natural elegance. The contrast between the various white textures, upholstery patterns, and warm wooden tones lends an air of quiet luxury to the environment. The beach bar’s technical elements, such as the air conditioning, water tanks, and water heater, are discreetly concealed behind a stylish wooden fence, seamlessly blending into the architecture.
