Paul Davis + Partners win consent for office to residential scheme at Buckingham Gate
Paul Davis + Partners have been awarded planning permission to convert from office to residential a Grade ll listed building at Buckingham Gate, London SW1. The site is located within the Birdcage Walk Conservation area adjacent to Buckingham Palace. Approved by Westminster City Council, the scheme comprises five linked but distinctive buildings around a garden courtyard and will provide 78 residential apartments.

The project for client Delek Global Real Estate will balance the retention of a Grade ll listed building and façade retention of other ‘buildings of merit’ on the site with the formation of contemporary apartments within a new residential building on Palace Street, providing a signature double height entrance hall for the whole development.
There is also a gym/spa and underground car parking for residents.
Work on the 25,000sqm project is expected to start on site in 2014.
