The 22 Bishopsgate tower under construction by Multiplex for AXA Investment Managers Real Assets, will be 255 m (840 feet) tall.
The City of London has granted planning permission for revised proposals by PLP which reduces the building height by 23m.
The tower is set to reign briefly as the tallest building in the City of London until Aroland Holdings’ 1 Undershaft Tower completes, which will be 290m high.
This City office development is due to have a population of 12,000 office workers over its 59 storeys.
The City of London resolved to approve the 295-metre tall building in November 2015, subject to a final decision by the mayor of London.
