Bradford Victorian Warehouse
Old victorian warehouse with new rooftop addition
The Grade II listed Hanover House is a refurbishment and roof extension of a Victorian warehouse building. Together with the surrounding buildings it is a reminiscence of the early industrial age in Bradford. The surprising sculptural aspect of the new roof reflects the surrounding roofscape and has been used to from living spaces and balconies.

A three dimensional self supporting truss made of solid cross laminated timber boards direct the roof loads onto the existing external walls. The spatial concept has merged with the construction and structure and has formed one entity.
