At Inspira, every real state project begins with an in-depth immersion into trend platforms to understand the desires and needs of the target public. For the project, we identified two core pillars: its unique location on a private peninsula and the rising trend of wellness—physical, mental, and spiritual. This trend has gained significant traction post-pandemic, especially after the WHO defined burnout as a condition in 2022.

These two pillars—location and wellness —came together in a unifying concept: Blue Wellness. A study by the World Happiness Institute revealed that the ten happiest cities in the world are all located near water—eight by the sea and two by rivers and lakes. Thus, an oceanfront development perfectly embodies the essence of blue wellness: the sense of relaxation and happiness derived from being near the sea, which naturally boosts serotonin production, the neurotransmitter responsible for well-being. This concept inspired the name Manami, a Japanese word meaning “love for the sea” (MANA: love; MI: sea).

For the interior design of Manami, our approach focused on harmoniously integrating with the surrounding nature. Every material, color, and texture was chosen to complement—not compete with—the peninsula’s natural beauty. We used an organic floor design in the common areas that mirrors the contours of the Guaibura Peninsula, creating a unique visual and sensory connection between the built environment and the landscape. Natural stones were intentionally incorporated to reflect the local rock formations, reinforcing the relationship between the design and the terrain.

We also drew inspiration from Japanese architecture, incorporating materials like bamboo and other natural elements, blending these influences with Brazilian tropicality through locally crafted furniture and organic lines. In the apartments, the same principles guided our choices. A notable example is the blue tile selected for the balcony pools, designed to reflect and blend with the ocean’s blue, enhancing the sense of well-being and connection to water.

Every detail in Manami, from material selection to furniture design, celebrates the symbiosis between construction and landscape, offering a living experience that truly reflects a love for the sea.
