San Telmo Museum, San Sebastián, Spain : Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos

The San Telmo Museum, inaugurated in 1902, is the oldest in the Basque Country. The extension and rehabilitation carried out between 2004-11 make it possible for the museum to reopen with new objectives from a multidisciplinary view, open to contemporary dialogue and debate.
Albania Parliament Tirana : COOP HIMMELB(L)AU

Wolf D. Prix / COOP HIMMELB(L)AU presents the new ‘Open Parliament of Albania‘ in Tirana which incorporates fundamental democratic values such as openness, transparency and public co-determination. The building, located on a site area with approximately 28,000 m², is going to be the first project in Albania for the Viennese headquartered studio.

Providing a new entrance, courtyard and purpose-built gallery for temporary exhibitions, the Exhibition Road Quarter will showcase the best of contemporary design, as well as celebrating the beauty of the V&A’s existing building. A new entrance, purpose-built gallery and the first porcelain-tiled public courtyard in the world will be accessed through the remodelled arches of the Aston Webb screen.
Philharmonie de Paris, France : Ateliers Jean Nouvel
Taking the view that the owner of the Philharmonie had modified and thus defiled his architectural work, Jean Nouvel had sued the former before the Paris Court of First Instance (civil court) asking the court to order the owner to perform all works necessary for the restoration of his work so as to comply with the architectural plans he had initially drawn.
One Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, London, UK : Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners
The development delivers 86 residential apartments and duplexes and three retail boutiques within four interlinked pavilions. These step up in two-storey increments to give, from west to east, buildings of 10, 12, 14, and 12 storeys respectively.
Saadiyat Island Buildings, UAE – News : Abu Dhabi Guggenheim design by US architect Frank Gehry
The new Abu Dhabi Guggenheim, designed by architect Frank Gehry, is one of the highest-profile construction projects in the Middle East. The Abu Dhabi Guggenheim is to be the centerpiece of a sprawling development called Saadiyat Island that includes a half-billion-dollar branch of the Louvre Museum designed by Jean Nouvel, a national museum designed by Norman Foster, luxury resorts, golf clubs, marinas and acres of private villas.
Centro Niemeyer, Avilés, Spain : Oscar Niemeyer architect
The project is set in Avilés estuary. Apart from being an important cultural proposal, the Niemeyer Center by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer has a relevant environmental element. It has specially become in the central piece of a wide urban regeneration process that will change completely the waterfront of the city.
Jesolo Lido Village Condominium, Venice, Italy : Richard Meier & Partners, Architects LLP

The new project is a beautiful condominium next to the water and it is part of a complex comprised of the Jesolo Lido Village, completed by Richard Meier & Partners in 2007, and the Jesolo Lido Hotel. This project has also been recently awarded the 2013 AIANY Architecture Award.
Russian Cultural Centre Paris, France : Sade and Arch Group selected – images

The Paris Russian Spiritual and Cultural Centre was designed to visually and spatially express the symbolism involved in Russian culture and in Russian Orthodox worship, in the very specific urban setting of Quai Branly, Avenue Rapp, the River Seine and the Eiffel Tower.
Stockholmsporten Masterplan, Sweden : BIG win
By introducing natural environments of differing characters within the loop, an Energy Valley in the center turns into a pie shaped park of pine-and oak forests, wetlands, grass lawns and hilly terrain which create a diverse experience when moving in or around the landscape.
