Cottage Buholmen, Norway

Cottage Buholmen – major building by this Norwegian architects practice.
The cottage replaces an old shed and supplied with a new outhouse and new pier. The building is twofold with one residence zone and one bedroom area, combined with a protected patio giving shelter to different wind conditions.

Lawns and retaining walls are residuals from the former garden. The building is stepped up from the entrance level and leads up to the level of the viewpoint terrace that fronts straight out through Dynekilen, with a large residence zone against the garden.
Cottage Parisholmen, Norway

The planned residential building spans across the gap between the rocks. The design gives a sequence of levels leading up to the viewpoint overlooking the fjord and the open sea in the east through a lighthouse-like glass corner.
Farm House Gamleveien, Norway

The building replaces an old derelict barn, and complies a sheltered court yard together with the existing main building.
It now accommodates a small apartment, sauna/fitness room and a double garage with storage space.

The building has an up to date, modern, strong expression. Right- angled main volumes with flat roof, precise details and adds up to consequent minimalistisk design.

An elongated villa on two floors, situated on a plot facing south-east with a southeast oriented view of the Oslofjord. To meet the strict regulations with regards to maximum heights, the building is lowered on the northside, behind a little rockback towards the road.

Open main floor plan with additional roof height in the living space creates a transparent and light interior. The building is constructed with lightweight concrete blocks, combined with some parts in oiled oak.

Two private residences over the same theme, but with different plans. Both buildings are situated on a site with a nice view and thus have panorama windows formed as protruding corner baywindows.
Kaffeplassen, Norway

The new house is set-back from the road, connected with a “flying” bridge crossing the informal natural garden. It continues like a diagonal cutting through the rectangular building and leads visitors to the double height gallery opening towards the wide westward view.
