Masdar Institute Campus, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Masdar Institute Campus
The Masdar Institute is the first building of its kind to be powered entirely by renewable solar energy. It will be used as a pilot test bed for the sustainable technologies that will be explored for implementation in future Masdar City buildings. The post graduate students are Masdar City’s first resident community.

Oxford Science & Enterprise Centre, UK

Envisaged as a unique world class facility inspired by and showcasing cutting edge science and technology, the centre will house a suite of inspiring interactive galleries whose content will excite and enthuse visitors of all ages. The new centre will include a state-of-the-art digital planetarium together with a public plaza, café and shop.

The 12,500 square-metre facility has a production capacity of one million bottles per year. The building’s trefoil design expresses the three main stages of production: fermentation in steel vats; ageing in oak barrels; and finally, ageing in bottles. These are controlled by an operations hub at the core.
