Chain10 Founder and Managing director Keng-Fu Lo:
Chain10
Chain10 was established by Ken Lo in 1996 with the purpose of combining cutting edge design and research. The company is located in the southern region of Taiwan in sunny Kaohsiung. It employs a staff of 22 people who work in fields ranging from interior design to 3D design. In the early days, the company was focused mostly on commercial space design but has since branched on to numerous other areas of the architectural and design field.
In 2001, the company engaged with its first ever large-scale commercial space design for what is now known as the Tan Zuo Mali restaurant franchise in Tainan. Since then they have gone on to work on projects in a variety of areas including residential, commercial and industrial. Most recently they have won numerous accolades for their project Comfort in Context which recently won the Green Good Design Award in 2021.
The company’s projects are all energy saving green buildings. This means that buildings ensure adequate ventilation and air flow to minimize the need for extra cooling. Within a building, the interweaving of natural light and artificial light provides a sense of stability in the indoor environment. The company’s relationship with the green environment, architecture and interior space are present in all their projects.
