Clearwater Harbor House, Sunapee, NH
Clearwater Harbor House is a retreat for an active family and their friends. After many years in their previous house on this property, our clients wanted to create a home that embraces the landscape with expansive views, sunlight and fresh air. The site runs east-west between Lake Sunapee to the north and a shared drive to the south.

Hood Museum of Art Building Renovation
Designed in 1985, the Hood Museum, located on Dartmouth’s campus in Hanover, was one of the key works of Charles Moore, whom critic Paul Goldberger called “our age’s greatest architectural enthusiast.” The Tsien-Williams plan would convert the open courtyard into a covered concourse, which they contend would both renovate the structure and add 40 percent more gallery space to the building, while keeping much of Moore’s design intact.

Modern New Hampshire Building
This building has none of the landscape-integrating prairie horizontals of Frank Lloyd Wright’s houses but instead hits you across well-maintained landscape as a massive squat pile of bricks.

New Hampshire House
The Zimmerman House was built in 1951, the first of two houses in New Hampshire designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (the other is the Toufic H. Kalil House, on the same street – see the next entry). The property is one of a modest number of Wright designs in the northeastern United States. The house was built for Dr. Isadore Zimmerman and his wife Lucille. The house is now owned by the Currier Museum of Art, as the Zimmermans donated the home to the public after their death. The museum provides tours of the building, which is the only legal access to the grounds. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
