KlingStubbins joins the iconic Soup Company in celebrating its distinctive, new building
Campbell Soup Company Employee Center
Camden, NJ – June 22, 2011 – The Campbell Soup Company’s Employee Center has been awarded LEED NC Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED Certification was one of the many complex spatial, performance, and programmatic criteria targeted by the KlingStubbins project team, and through sustainable strategies, the project attained LEED Silver Certification, exceeding the original goal of Certified.
In Campbell Soup Company’s ongoing efforts to represent innovation, progression, and a stimulation of local economic growth, the company wanted to construct a dynamic, ecologically friendly structure to house employee services. The building, which opened in June of 2010, employs energy efficient HVAC systems, water conservation, recycled building materials, and daylight harvesting, among other sustainable features. The energy efficient structure and construction of the Employee Center reinforces the principles, beliefs, and promise of the Campbell Soup Company while rendering it a steward of sustainable design.
