UNStudio Architects are an architecture office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This Dutch architectural firm was set up in 1999.
The founding partners are Ben van Berkel + Caroline Bos. The main design studio location is Amsterdam, Netherlands, Europe.
Ben van Berkel originally practised with the world-famous architect / engineer Santiago Calatrava. His first architects office was called Van Berkel & Bos Architectuurbureau: so-called due to partner Caroline Bos.
Ben van Berkel’s architectural education was at the prestigious AA London, England, UK. He was taught by the late Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.
