This Roman Fort on Hadrian’s Wall is one of the most complete and best preserved Roman forts in Europe, and this project aims to provide a visitor experience worthy of such an exceptional site. Gareth Hoskins Architects are experienced in dealing with complex and challenging locations similar to that at Housesteads, and their proposal safeguards the historical significance of the site and enhances the dramatic landscape surrounding it.
Nick Domminney, Director at Gareth Hoskins Architects said, “We are delighted and honoured to take on this commission. Housesteads is a site of world significance so we will work with the National Trust and English Heritage to deliver the world class facility which it deserves.”
