Unicorn picks Dundee’s top property sales team for landmark, waterfront building
Thorntons continues its successful relationship with Unicorn Property Group and City Quay, Dundee.
Unicorn Property Group has selected Thorntons Property Services of Dundee, to act as sales agents for its flagship development, the Clocktower, at City Quay Dundee.
The Clocktower, with a GDV in excess of £4m for 12 highly specified apartments, is a landmark building, clearly visible across the city. Unicorn is aiming the Clocktower at high net worth individuals from the Dundee’s industry & scientific entrepreneurs and at the frequent visitors to the many attractions to be found in and around Tayside. It is a world class development for demanding, global customers.
George Solley, Director of Property Sales at Thorntons Property Services said: “This is a one-off. I am stunned by the specifications that Unicorn has built in as standard and I am convinced that the Clocktower will be highly sought after – it is a type of accommodation that Dundee has never had in the city centre before. It is the kind of accommodation the waterfront deserves.”
Tim Allan, director of Unicorn, said: “Our successes at City Quay are due to the area’s potential and to our design interpretations of each site’s best use. There are so many different sized opportunities here: the railway transit sheds which so impressed the British Council for Offices; DundeeOne; the Harbour Chambers building; the residential sites on the south side of Victoria Dock; the stunning Chandlers’ Lane townhouses and, of course, the Clocktower. I am convinced that, with the changes in Dundee’s waterfront and the coming of the V & A at Dundee, the Clocktower apartments will be amongst the most sought after in the whole of Scotland in years to come. We have already fielded many enquiries from canny investors who clearly recognise this.”
