Performing Arts Hall, Jackson, Wyoming, USA : Stephen Dynia Architects

The building masses are unified by a skin of wood slats that are exterior cladding, sun shading and mechanical screening. A continuous canopy through the entry spaces unifies the sequence from street to lobby. The exposed concrete fly tower and wood slats express a utilitarian nature of the early local built environment.
Dynamo Stadium Moscow, Russia : Erick van Egeraat

VTB Arena Park comprises the redevelopment of the Dynamo Moscow stadium and an articulation of the surrounding park. In contradiction with mono-functional sports arena’s Erick van Egeraat designs multifunctional urban regenerator,that will play a key role in transforming its wider surroundings.
Harpa Reykjavik Concert Congress Centre, Iceland : Henning Larsen Architects
The Icelandic National Concert & Conference Centre gathers inspiration from the northern lights and the dramatic Icelandic nature. Situated in Reykjavik on the boundary between the land and the sea, the building stands out like a radiant sculpture ref lecting both sky and harbour space as well as the vibrant life of the city.
Ravensbourne College building, London : Foreign Office Architects

The new building is in giddy proximity to the Dome/O2/North Greenwich Arena, which sets up an unavoidable clash of scale and geometry. The relatively standard programme could have produced a building that could not converse let alone compete with its neighbour.
Farnsworth House, Illinois – move : Mies van der Rohe, Architect

BIG wins the competition to revitalize the city center of the third largest city in Finland. The invited design contest calls for a strong architectural master plan, comprising residential, commercial and cultural programme, forming a new urban area around the existing Ratina sports stadium in one of the most rapidly developing regions in Finland.
Museum of Tomorrow, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil : Santiago Calatrava
Inspired by the natural landscape of the country, the two story museum features a cantilevered roof and facade with moving elements. The museum retains Calatrava’s sleek signature aesthetic as it seems to be moving outward, pushing out into the bay.
