Steffian Bradley Appoints Schools Design Director

Steffian Bradley Architects has appointed John Cherrington as Schools Design Director to create and develop a schools design portfolio within the business. Cherrington joins the London office bringing over 20 years of design and management experience to this growing international practice.
John Cherrington:
Cherrington’s specialist skills will develop and build the Steffian Bradley education offering to clients internationally. Based on his expertise and considerable knowledge of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, Cherrington will establish a new approach, methodology and philosophy for the practices’ education buildings. In his new role, Cherrington will bring together Steffian Bradley’s most skilled designers to create design teams selected by virtue of talent and experience.
This appointment comes at a time of growth for Steffian Bradley who will continue to develop their operations internationally. Steffian Bradley has over 175 people, with offices in London, Boston (USA), Barcelona and Guangzhou and is currently working in other parts of Europe and China.

Steffian Bradley Architects is an international practice with offices in the UK, USA, Spain and China. Originally established in Boston, MA, USA, in 1932, the London office has been open since 2002. Steffian Bradley Architects is a design-led practice that specialises in public sector buildings and prides themselves on tailoring each design to the client’s individual needs. SBA’s buildings are environmentally and socially responsible, enriching and respecting the communities they serve.
Steffian Bradley Architects’ London office has been growing rapidly since opening its doors in June 2002. Today, this office includes over 60 professionals who collaborate on a number of projects throughout the UK and internationally. The architecture office have recently completed the Guangzhou Children’s Activity Centre in China.
