Images released of design by BCMF Arquitetos for redevelopment of the Mineirão Stadium – the second largest in Brazil, after Maracanã – originally built in 1965.
The “Minas Arena” Consortium won the construction tender in 2010 and commissioned BCMF Architects to do the “Executive Project”, to review and deliver the design as part of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) of the renovation of the Mineirão Stadium, one of the venues for the 2014 Fifa World Cup.

Casa Cor Bar
This Belo Horizonte bar by BCMF Arquitetos was initially planned to operate in any open space, public or private, as a kind of non-site-specific structure, and is supposed to be an informal lounge and retreat space within any context. With dim lighting and some cork benches distributed at strategic points, the orange carpet floor unfolds into bleachers and stepped platforms where people can relax and admire the landscape from inside or outside.
