Inder House, located on a 4,250 sqft plot in a residential neighborhood of Chennai, has approximately 6,300 sqft (585 sqm) that are organized in 4 levels. Besides the programmatic requirements of the client, their most important requirement was that the distribution of the different areas of the house, both exterior and interior, responds to Vastu´s philosophy.

South Hamptons Villa, NY, USA

This 17,000 sqft (1,600 sqm) villa is located in a privileged area in the South-Hamptons with the sea surrounding the plot on two 2 different sides. The house belongs to a couple who uses the house during the summer with their relatives and friends. The family’s passion for boats inspires the way the house gets integrated with the site as well as the seascape.

The Kelly House, located on a 4,720 sqft plot in the heart of Chennai city, has about 6,200 sqft arranged over 3 floors. The ground floor has service areas, a foyer and parking space. Alongside, there are an entrance hall, a leisure space and fitness center which open towards the yard.

House C is raised as an introvert – extrovert element and at the same time rooted to its territory. It is open for visitors but at the same time keeps with wary spaces for privacy and reflection. It has duality in the forms and the global functioning of the building.

Madrid Architects

ABIBOO Architecture is an international studio with headquarters in Madrid, New York and Chennai and an emerging team created 3 years ago that is currently developing projects at very different scales (currently a volume of 200,000 m2) in various parts of the world with a special interest in the architectural research component. Some of our projects are in the planning stage while others are under construction.

From ABIBOO Architecture we try to create a space for exchange of ideas that meet the changing needs of the global society in which we live. This research helps us to investigate different aspects of our professional practice. That is what we try to transmit both in our projects and in our academic and theoretical partnerships, either at renowned universities such as UPenn (University of Pennsylvania), Columbia University of New York, Tonghi University in Shanghai, or at inter-professional meetings and conferences.

Recently, Alfredo Munoz, founder of ABIBOO Architecture has been one of the architects invited to lecture in ACRECONF in Delhi to discuss our projects in Asia as well as other important professional meetings between industry professionals like the one held in the last VETECO fair in Madrid to discuss ‘Major Projects of Architecture’.
