Zaha Hadid Architects designed Morpheus, a new flagship hotel for the City of Dreams resort. Located in Cotai, Macau, City of Dreams is a leading integrated resort including casino, two theatres, shopping district, 20 restaurants and four hotels.
UAP worked with Zaha Hadid Architects to explore and assist in the design development and fabrication methods for a series of internal sculptural dining pods.
The design of Apple Cotai Central in Macau is the result of a close collaboration between the design team at Apple led by chief design officer, Sir Jonathan Ive and Angela Ahrendts, senior vice president of Retail and Online Stores and Foster + Partners.
Design: Impromptu Projects, Architects. This temporary bamboo structure attempts to mimic the splendor and rarity of identical triplets in the form of three random trees, hence the word play of the title. The trees are joined through their canopies.
Design: Zaha Hadid Architects. This is the fifth hotel tower at City of Dreams in Cotai, Macau. With 40 floors and a gross floor area of 150,000 sqm, the tower houses around 780 guestrooms, suites and sky villas. The hotel also includes a variety of meeting and event facilities, gaming rooms, lobby atrium, restaurants, spa, and sky pool. The tower building design resolves the many complex programs for the hotel within a single cohesive envelope.
