The Qaammat Pavilion is designed and built by Architect Konstantin Ikonomidis in cooperation with UNESCO and the Qeqqata Municipality. It is sited in Sarfannguit.
Also worth noting is Ilulissat Icefjord Centre by Dorte Mandrup, Denmark. This property is located in the harsh yet beautiful Arctic landscape surrounded by snow and ice. The site is on the edge of the UNESCO-protected wilderness.
Finally, check out the Katuaq Cultural Centre design by Danish studio Schmidt Hammer Lassen. When opened in 1997 it provided for the first time a cultural and artistic meeting place for both locals, the international Inuit community and global visitors.
