gt GT4 is a blend of lightweight Lecca aggregate and award-winning gt Green-tree top soil. It is light in texture and has good water holding capacity meaning it is an ideal substrate for use in green roof construction.

The substrate is blended to produce a high performance extensive green roof growing medium.

It is light in texture and has good water holding capacity meaning it is an ideal substrate for use in green roof construction, and landscape overlap.
The key benefits of using GT4 are as follows:
-GT4 has a loamy sand class which is light in texture
-GT4 has good aeration
-GT4 has moderate levels of fertility
-GT4 has a low bulk density value (1.2Mg/m3) compared to that of standard soils, making it ideal for use as a lightweight soil
-GT4 has a typical pH of 7.3 which would be suitable for a wide range of planting
