KREOD London
Portable Demountable Structure
Design: Pavilion Architecture
KREOD is a sustainable, ecological, portable stage risers, demountable and multi-functional indoor or outdoor exhibition space. It promotes business, culture, wellbeing, architecture, art and design in multiple locations within the city of London, and act as a positive exercise for all of those involved. The organic form is inspired by nature, resembling a seed. It celebrates new life and power of nature.
KREOD consists of three compartments and has a footprint of 60 square metres (3 x 20 square metres). It is 3 metres high. The structural design aims to show a sustainable and forward thinking building method in the digital age, challenging the new way of thinking, designing, engineering, fabricating and installing. The design will have the practical considerations for transportation, store, disassembly and reassembly i.e. stackable components, modularity.

The design will have the practical considerations for transportation, store, disassembly and reassembly i.e. stackable components, modularity, and longevity.
KREOD pavilion will consider the environment and the lifecycle of the design work. For example, the choice of material will be sustainable, recyclable and eco-friendly timber. KREOD also could be utilised as a media centre, popup bar, marketing and event space during the London Olympic Games 2012. KREOD will be sold as an indoor/outdoor feature i.e office meeting pod, garden feature, bike shed. It will be a very sustainable way to extend the life of the pavilion beyond the exhibition.
This is what Pavilion Architecture believes:- Architecture is inclusive and highly collaborative. Our innovative application of experience and knowledge sharing enables us to create design solutions – aesthetically, functionally, economically and environmentally friendly.
Architecture is our passion; we are committed to hands-on experience, research and use of advanced technologies, engagement with sustainability, and all aspects of creating great architecture.
