19 May 2020
Industrial living brand Warehouse Home’s new real estate division brings a curatorial approach to buying and selling property in a sought-after niche.
Global lifestyle brand Warehouse Home has launched a property division, offering specialist advice to those looking to buy or sell high-end industrial conversions. This new real estate agency is a natural extension to the Warehouse Home brand’s phenomenal success in print, online and through its interior design service.
Warehouse Home real estate in London
The new Warehouse Home property venture is led by two experts; Sophie Bush and Simon Stone. Following a successful career in publishing, Sophie saw a gap in the market for expertise in creating industrial-style interiors. Drawing on her own experience living in a beautiful East London conversion, she founded mywarehousehome.com and Warehouse Home magazine in 2014 and went on to write a best-selling book and set up an accompanying interior design studio. Simon, meanwhile, is a residential real estate expert of over 25 years who predicted the potential of areas such a Shoreditch and Hoxton long before they became fashionable.
Together, Sophie and Simon provide an unrivalled knowledge of and passion for industrial living. Warehouse Home has a highly-curated approach to buying and selling warehouse homes, from fully renovated properties to unmodernised ones in need of love and attention. Whether you’re a longstanding fan of this type of residential property or are looking for inspiration away from the mainstream housing offer, Warehouse’s Home’s expert and experienced property team can be your guide.
Each property in the Warehouse Home property porfolio has been carefully selected, with only those with clear historical, architectural and design merits represented. This brand new property business specialises exclusively in selling authentic, high-end industrial conversions, from former factories and old mills to converted print-works and riverside wharves. Established estate agencies, more accustomed to marketing conventional properties, often miss the distinctive qualities that sets this niche type of home apart.
The sale of all Warehouse Home properties will be handled throughout by experienced directors. This new estate agency invests time to work with leading photographers and experienced writers to create compelling, magazine-style images and copy for each property. Amongst the properties currently for sale is a home in the Spratt’s Complex in Poplar, London, built in 1897 and once the largest dog biscuit factory in the world. Also on the market with Warehouse Home is the live-work warehouse home of celebrated British artist David Mach, in Forest Hill, London. Successful sales already completed include a warehouse conversion in Faversham, Kent, for the renowned sculptor Jeff Lowe.
Warehouse Home’s approach is a world away from that of the traditional, one-size-fits all estate agency. Having become an authority as a global media brand, it’s now set to innovate and disrupt the way people buy industrial conversions.
