Extraordinary golden beaches, rolling hills of olive groves and scented exotic gardens surround the Grecotel Eva Palace Hotel on Corfu Island area, a small Greek peninsula of the island of Corfù.
Kommeno, also known as the “Garden of the Gods” for its natural and pure charm, is characterized by a complete sense of privacy and relax it has maintained over the years.
All around, the Ionian Sea waters reflect the classical architecture of luxury resorts, whose structures found a perfect integration in harmony with the natural environment.
Located in the extreme part of the peninsula, the magnificent complex of EVA PALACE GRECOTEL LUXURY RESORT offers an experience that combines comfort and entertainment following the ancient traditions and spirits of Corfù.
This luxury hotel is the result of a renovation project developed by the Liakos and Associates Architects Studio.
The challenge of this project was to create a resort combining the local construction detailing and style with the requirements of a modern building, while taking into consideration its gorgeous natural setting.
With this in mind, great care was taken in locating its entrance, its roads and its buildings so that this first class resort could offer its customers amazing views of the peninsula.
The resort has a central building surrounded by small houses with swimming pools, closed areas and courtyards, sheltered outdoor areas echoing the natural conformation of the landscape.
The main building, as wells as the bungalows are embraced by splendid gardens with olive trees, tropical vegetation, enhancing the environmental atmosphere of the resort. The environment was designed to maximize guests’ privacy while creating a refined and serene atmosphere.
SIRU lighting solutions found perfect and harmonious internal and external placement satisfying the needs of the clients. The light plays a key role in this project: all the spaces and areas of the resort have a strong aesthetic feeling and a great visual impact thanks to the elegant and sensuous SIRU lighting solutions created by blowing glass into a framework of bent metal wires.
These are unique pieces of handmade Murano glass, created by master artisans; they decorate and adorn the living spaces, the outdoor areas and the paths.
Tradition and design come together, combining the respect for past and modern, emphasizing the characteristic features in evocative atmosphere.
